Train, bus rates not increasing for Undas weekend, reps say


Train and bus rates are poised to stay the same from this week until the long weekend, representatives from the Philippine National Railways (PNR) and two major bus franchises said Wednesday. The PNR’s Bicol Express line, meanwhile, will be deploying a special fleet of trains for the undas weekend, according to their official Facebook fan page. Bus rates for JAC Liner, Inc., will remain unchanged over the weekend, said Operations Manager Catherine Lagdaan in a Wednesday phone interview with GMA News Online. A representative from Victory Liner’s Cubao terminal also said their rates would not increase. According to Victory Liner’s official website, the rates are as follows: Air conditioned buses:

  • Cubao to Tuguegarao - P582

Both bus lines, however, will not be arranging extra bus trips for the weekend.
