Eastern Petroleum, Petron to slash fuel prices Tuesday


Two oil companies - an independent one and a major player - on Monday said they would slash their petroleum prices on Tuesday. In a text message, Eastern Petroleum president Fernando Martinez said effective 12:01 a.m., their gasoline, diesel, and kerosene prices would be slashed by P0.25 per liter. Petron, through its public affairs manager Raffy Ledesma, said it would implement the same price reduction to the same fuel products starting 6 a.m. - Sophia Dedace/KBK, GMANews.TV
