Retired professor found dead in Manila

MANILA, Philippines - A retired college professor was found dead inside her house in Manila shortly before dawn Sunday. The body was identified that of Lyn Subaran, 63, who left her teaching profession at St. Scholastica’s College in Manila just last Thursday. Subaran’s body was found by Barangay 424 watchmen while patrolling the area at about 1:15 a.m. Foul stench reportedly led the watchmen to the victim. Subaran was clad in black and was barefoot when found. Probers are not discounting foul play as they wait for the results of the autopsy to determine the cause of death. - GMANews.TV
