The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has released photos of former House speaker Martin Romualdez’s mugshots.
After doctors from the Philippine General Hospital said that he was fit enough to be discharged, Romualdez was transferred to the Quezon City Jail Male Dormitory on Monday night.

Once at the Quezon CIty Jail, Romualdez underwent booking procedures.
The former House Speaker is facing plunder charges in connection with P7.2 billion in alleged kickbacks from government infrastructure projects.
His co-accused, former Ako Bicol party-list Rep. Zaldy Co, Samchan Foreign Exchange Corp. president Felicito Guevarra, and Romualdez’s personal assistant Joselin Sereño are all at large.
Romualdez’s camp had initially petitioned for him to remain at the Cardinal Santos Medical Center, citing various health conditions that ranged from hypertension to depression and anxiety.
However, the Sandiganbayan Third Division ordered doctors from the PGH to assess the lawmaker's condition and create an independent report.
On Monday, PGH Director Dr. Gerardo D. Legaspi told the anti-graft court that Romualdez was clinically stable.
Legaspi said that the identified conditions needed monitoring, but confinement was not necessary as long as medical care is guaranteed.
