Woman dies after being hit by bus while crossing EDSA bus lane

A woman died after she was hit by a bus at the EDSA Bus Lane on Tuesday.

According to a dzBB report by Allan Gatus on Tuesday, the woman crossed the bus lane as she was collecting plastic bottles when she was hit by the bus.

The driver stated that he didn’t notice the victim as he did not expect anyone to cross through the bus lane and was surprised when the victim hit the windshield.

The incident happened near Monte de Piedad street southbound of the EDSA bus lane.

Ambulances arrived to rush the victim to the hospital, but she had already succumbed to severe injuries.
