LRT1 extending service hours by 30 mins starting March 26, 2025

Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT1) operator Light Rail Manila Corp. (LRMC) followed suit in extending train service hours after Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT3) extended its operations by an hour on March 24.
In a statement on Tuesday, LRMC announced that effective March 26, LRT1 operations will be extended by 30 minutes on weekdays.
In particular, the last train leaving Dr. Santos Station will be scheduled at 10:30 p.m. from the previous 10 p.m. schedule.
Meanwhile, the last service train departing from Fernando Poe Jr. Station will be at 10:45 p.m. from the current 10:15 p.m. timeslot.

LRMC said that “there will be no schedule change for the first train leaving both Dr. Santos and Fernando Poe Jr. stations at 4:30 a.m. on weekdays, and 5 a.m. on weekends/holidays.”
“LRMC supports the call of the Department of Transportation (DOTr) to provide extended service for the benefit of the riding public. In coming up with the new operating schedule, we also considered how the extension period will also not significantly impact the available maintenance window to ensure continuous availability, reliability, and safety of our service,"” said LRMC President and CEO Enrico Benipayo.
LRMC advised passengers to plan their trips ahead of time as LRT1 ticket booths close five minutes before the last train departs from the stations. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
