Fire hits St. Luke's hospital compound in Quezon City

A fire broke out in an area inside the compound of St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City on Friday morning, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection - National Capital Region (BFP-NCR).

In an update, the BFP-NCR said the fire reached the first alarm around 9:10 a.m. and was immediately put out 9:17 a.m. 

The BFP-NCR said the fire involved an electrical issue.

Authorities have yet to provide information on the cause of fire, casualties, and estimated cost of damage as of posting time.—Joviland Rita/AOL, GMA Integrated News
