3 dead, 4 injured in Tondo fire

Three people died while four others were injured after a fire broke out in a residential neighborhood in Tondo, Manila on Thursday afternoon.
The Bureau of Fire Protection - National Capital Region (BFP-NCR) reported the blaze occurred along Coral Street in Barangay 58, which affected about 54 individuals or 18 families.
All of the fatalities were residents, while three fire volunteers and one resident were injured.
The fire left six houses damaged, with an estimated value of P800,000.
The BFP-NCR said the blaze started on the second floor of a house. It was raised to first alarm at 1:25 p.m. and second alarm at 1:28 p.m.
The fire was extinguished at 3:23 p.m.
According to BFP-NCR, at least 35 firetrucks responded to the blaze.
