Fire hits San Juan City residential area; 1 suffers from breathing difficulty


A fire broke out in a residential area in Barangay Little Baguio, San Juan City Thursday morning, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection-National Capital Region (BFP-NCR).

In an update, the BFP-NCR said the fire started around 7:05 a.m. and reached first alarm at 7:11 a.m.

Eight fire trucks and one ambulance responded to the area.

According to the BFP-NCR, one person experienced difficulty breathing due to the fire.

At 7:44 a.m., the fire was declared under control before being declared out at 8:36 a.m.

Authorities have yet to provide information on the cause of fire, number of affected houses and residents, as well as the estimated cost of damage as of posting time.—Joviland Rita/AOL/RF, GMA Integrated News
