PITX hikes parking fees starting Jan. 14

The Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) has implemented higher parking rates starting Tuesday, January 14, 2025.

The parking fee for cars at the public transport hub is now P60 for the first three hours and P15 for every succeeding hour. The flat rate used to be P60.

For motorcycles, the flat rate parking fee has increased from P50 to P60.

Further, the overnight parking for both types of vehicles has doubled to P300 plus base parking fee—a sharp rise from the previous rate of P150 plus base parking fee.

The new amount for overnight parking covers 1:30 a.m. to 5 a.m.

Meanwhile, the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) began collecting higher parking fees last October following the takeover of the San Miguel-led New NAIA Infrastructure Corporation in the operations of the airport. — Vince Angelo Ferreras/ VDV, GMA Integrated News
