Taxi catches fire along EDSA in Quezon City; all passengers safe

A taxi caught on fire in front of a shopping mall along EDSA northbound lane in Quezon City on Wednesday evening.

According to a "Saksi" report, the driver seemed to be getting his belongings while the cab was ablaze.

Someone even shouted at the driver to get out of the vehicle.

Before the incident, there was an explosion in the taxi.

The driver said he did not expect the incident since he repaired the cab before the trip.

The taxi’s three passengers, including a child, were all safe.
