Nazareno 2025: Over 14K NCRPO personnel deployed for Traslacion preps
The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) on Thursday announced that it deployed more than 14,000 personnel in preparation for the Feast of Jesus Nazareno on January 9, 2025.
According to the NCRPO, it deployed a total of 12,168 personnel for area and route security and received an additional 2,306 personnel from partner agencies.
This brought the total to 14,474 personnel.
Among the highlights of the feast is the Traslacion, or the procession of the 400-year-old black image of Jesus from the Quirino Grandstand to the Minor Basilica and National Shrine of Jesus Nazareno (Quiapo Church).

The Church previously warned devotees of scams ahead of the feast.
Millions of devotees flock to Quiapo Church every January 9 to honor the Jesus Nazareno in hopes of getting their prayers answered or receiving miracles.
