150K passengers expected to flock at PITX starting Dec. 20
As Christmas nears, at least 150,000 passengers are expected to flock to the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) starting December 20, Friday.
In Oscar Oida’s 24 Oras report, the PITX administration said the number of passengers on Thursday may reach 90,000.
However, some passengers have run out of air-conditioned buses to take — particularly those that are bound for Bicol. Ordinary bu ses, meanwhile, have scheduled trips from time to time.
In the bus terminals along EDSA Cubao, most trips to Bicol are fully booked; while trips to the Northern Luzon now have limited tickets.
Among those who were fortunate to have a seat at a bus ride is 65-year-old Florencio Didase, who is bound to Daet, Camarines Norte, for Christmas.
