Wanted motorbike thief in Pasig City nabbed

Authorities arrested a man who is wanted for stealing motorcycles in Pasig City.

In Emil Sumangil’s Wednesday report in "Saksi," the suspect had drastic changes to his appearance as he lost weight, his face dropped, and his hair is longer.

“Hindi naging madali sa amin. Nalagpasan namin ito ng tatlong beses (We were challenged. We missed his location three times),” said Police Master Sergeant Ardie Vergara of the Operative East Police District (EPD) Special Operations Unit.

Vergara added that the suspect stole a number of motorcycle units in Barangay Rosario and adjacent barangays.

The suspect’s last victim was his friend.

“Yung pagbebenta, madali eh. Pwede nila ichop-chop or parts at madali yung pagsalya nila. Mabilis yung pera (Selling the motorcycles is easy as it can be solve by parts. It’s easy money),” EPD Director P/Col Villamor Tuliao said. The suspect has no comments. — Mariel Celine Serquiña/BAP, GMA Integrated News
