Security guard arrested after stealing motorcycle in QC
A security guard was arrested after he attempted to steal a motorcycle in Quezon City.
According to Nico Waje's report on Saksi, CCTV footage showed a man carrying a motorcycle helmet while walking towards an establishment along Aurora Boulevard in Quezon City at around 4 p.m. on Monday.
After a few minutes, he was seen taking a parked motorcycle and drove away by pushing the vehicles using his legs.
The owner, Dion Mark Cuevas, said he parked his motorcycle to play billiards with friends.
(I played some games and then ate with my friends. I was about to go home when I noticed that my motorcycle was gone.)
Using CCTV footage, police from the District Anti-Carnapping Unit (DACU) of the Quezon City Police nabbed the suspect .
(Our backtracking continued until he was caught near Imperial Street in Barangay E. Rodriguez. Where the said motorcycle was carried.)
The suspect admitted to the crime.
(I did it because I sold my motorcycle last November 2, I was looking for a way to get back my motorcycle that I sold.)
(I chose that motorycle because it didn't have a key and it wasn't padlocked.)
The owner said he wasn't able to lock his vehicle when he parked it.
The suspect will be charged with violating the Anti-Carnapping Law. —Sherylin Untalan/RF, GMA Integrated News
