Around 25,000 visitors arrived at the Loyola Memorial Park in Parañaque City as of Friday noon amid the observance of this year’s Undas.
Mary Ann Arriola, Loyola Memorial Park manager, said 20,000 to 25,000 individuals have visited the cemetery as of 12 noon.
(We’re expecting the number of visitors to reach 50,000 to 100,000 because of good weather.)
Some contrabands including vapes and cigarettes were confiscated from visitors. according to Arriola. She said police are patrolling the cemetery grounds for security.
Meanwhile, the park management warned the public against unscrupulous individuals posing as caretakers for a fee.
(We are warning the public against those posing as caretakers and asking for payment. We have our own caretakers who maintain the lots here.) —Sundy Locus/AOL, GMA Integrated News
