Taxi driver shot dead after road rage fist fight in Pasay
A taxi driver was shot and killed after an apparent case of road rage in Pasay City.
According to Jhomer Apresto's report on "24 Oras," CCTV footage showed the cab refusing to allow a dark sedan from cutting into the queue of a fast food restaurant drive-thru on Andrews Avenue.
The two cars jostled for position until a man from the car went down to confront the cabbie.
The argument resulted in a fist fight until they were broken up.
Another CCTV video showed the cab driver running toward the car. Police said he had a knife with him.
A man from the car went down the car and allegedly shot the taxi driver.
The car was later found in Bulacan but its owner said it didn't leave his garage at the time of the incident.
He showed the dashcam video to prove his point.
The police are looking at the possibility that the car's license plate was illegally duplicated.
The hunt continues for the gunman. —Jiselle Anne C. Casucian/NB, GMA Integrated News
