Isko Moreno, son Joaquin, Mocha Uson file COCs for Manila seats

Isko Moreno on Tuesday filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) for mayor in Manila in the 2025 elections, Super Radyo dzBB’s Isa Avendaño-Umali posted X (formerly Twitter).

He served as mayor of the city from 2019 to 2022.

He will be facing his former ally and vice mayor, now Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna who filed her COC on October 3; Tutok to Win party-list Rep. Sam Verzosa who formalized his bid on Sunday, and Arnel Karingal, 

Moreno’s runningmate Chi Atienza also filed her COC.

On the other hand, Joaquin Domagoso, son of Moreno, will be running for councilor.

Blogger Mocha Uson also filed her COC for councilor.

In 2019, Uson was appointed as a deputy administrator of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration. She also assumed the post of assistant secretary in the Presidential Communications Operations Office in 2017.—Joviland Rita/ AOL, GMA Integrated News
