Aiko Melendez files COC for QC councilor re-election

Aiko Melendez on Monday filed her certificate of candidacy for her re-election as councilor for the fifth district of Quezon City.

Melendez went on a Facebook livestream to document her filing of COC.

According to her Instagram account, Melendez filed her COC at exactly 12:40 pm on Monday, October 7 under the Serbisyo Sa Bayan Party-list.

"Nangangako akong magbibigay ng mas mahusay na serbisyo sa publiko at maipagpatuloy ang Aksyon at Malasakit sa Distrito Singko," she wrote.

A total of 18,280 elective posts will be up for grabs for Eleksyon 2025. The filing of COCs has started on October 1 and is set to close on October 8, Tuesday.
