Pasay Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano files COC for third term

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano on Monday filed her certificate of candidacy (COC) for her third term with the “Team Calixto” or the PFP-Lakas-Tapat Coalition.

“Ngayong araw na ito ay nag-file tayo ng ating certificate of candidacy para sa ating ikatlong termino bilang Mayor ng ating lungsod,” she said in a Facebook post. 

(Today we filed our certificate of candidacy for our third term as Mayor of our city.)

Calixto-Rubiano's runningmate is Pasay councilor Mark Calixto.

“Kasama natin ang buong Team Calixto (PFP-Lakas-Tapat Coalition), ating pamilya, at tagasuporta na pinakita ang kanilang patuloy na pagmamahal. Asahan ninyo na patuloy ang ating pagseserbisyo ng Tapat at Higit pa sa Sapat para sa ating mga kababayan dito sa ating mahal na Lungsod ng Pasay,” the mayor added.

(We are with the entire Team Calixto, our family, and supporters who have shown their love. Expect us to continue an honest and more than enough service for our constituents in Pasay City.)

Meanwhile, former Pasay City councilor Noel Bayona also filed his COC for a House seat for the city's lone district, according to a post of Super Radyo dzBB on X (formerly Twitter).

A total of 18,280 elective posts will be up for grabs for Eleksyon 2025. The filing of COCs has started on October 1 and is set to close on October 8, Tuesday.—Joviland Rita/AOL, GMA Integrated News
