Vlogger Rosmar Tan files COC for councilor in Manila

Content creator and vlogger Rosmar Tan on Tuesday filed her certificate of candidacy for councilor in the City of Manila. 

Speaking to reporters, Tan said she would independently run in Manila's First District.

''Sa totoo lang, tulad ng lagi ko pong sinasabi, wala naman po akong balak tumakbo dahil dagdag sakit sa ulo, dagdag obligasyon, responsibilidad... pero kasi may nagpush po sa akin 'tumakbo ka, kasi kailangan ka ng tao, kailangan nila ng tunay na pagbabago,''' Tan said.

(I really had no plans to run because it's just an additional obligation and responsibility for me. But, someone pushed me to run and told me that the people need me and that they need real change.)

Asked about her knowledge on crafting legislation, Tan said "everything can be learned."

''Lahat po ng bagay puwede matutunan, hindi naman po ako bobong tao (I'm not stupid),'' Tan said.
