Malabon sets road closures, rerouting for earthquake drill

Several roads in Malabon City will be either be closed or rerouted on Thursday for the conduct of the 3rd Quarter 2024 Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill.

According to an advisory issued Wednesday, the following roads will be closed starting 9 a.m. on Sept. 26:

• C. Arellano corner Sacristia Street
• F. Sevilla corner Estrella Street
• Rizal Avenue corner Leoño Street

Motorists have been also advised to take the following rerouted roads:

• Sacristia corner General Luna Avenue until Rizal Avenue corner General Luna Avenue (temporarily open as a 2-way road)
• All cars from C. Arellano (bound for Bayan) may pass through Sigwa Street, General Luna Avenue towards Rizal Avenue
• All cars from Tonsuya may pass through Rizal Avenue and turn left to Leoño Street, and turn right to Estrella Street
