Power interruptions in parts of Metro Manila, Laguna, Bulacan on Sept. 21-23

Parts of Metro Manila, Laguna, and Bulacan will experience power service interruptions from September 21 to 23 due to scheduled maintenance activities.

In advisories posted on its website, Manila Electric Company said it will be relocating facilities affected by road widening along NIA Road in Bgy. Sinalhan, Sta. Rosa City, Laguna on September 21.

Affected between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. are:

• Portion of NIA Road from near Sinalhan Road to and including Amira Towhomes, St. Joseph Richfield Subd. Phases 1 & 2, Farmview Subd. and Purok 5 in Bgys. Tagapo and Sinalhan.

Line reconductoring works will be conducted along Laong Laan Road and Gelinos St. in Sampaloc, Manila on September 22.

Affected between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. are:

• Portion of Gelinos St. from Laong Laan Road to near Dapitan St.
• Portion of Laong Laan Road from Langit St. to Antonio St.

There will be line maintenance works and replacement of broken pole along Botocan 61D - Caliraya 61CL 115kV sub-transmission line in Laguna on September 22.

Affected between 8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. and then between 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. are:

• Portion of Majayjay – Lucban Road, Liliw – Majayjay Road, Nagcarlan – Liliw Road and San Pablo – Rizal Nagcarlan Road from Bgy. Ilayang Banga, Majayjay to and including portion of Bgys. San Antonio I, Sta. Maria Magdalena and Sto. Angel in San Pablo City;
• Bgys. Antipolo, Entablado, Laguan, Paule 1, Pook, Tala, Talaga, Tuy and Town Proper in Rizal;
• Bgys. Meralco will be conducting testing works inside its Los Baños substation on September 22.

Affected between 8:45 a.m, and 9 a.m. and then between 4 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. are:

• University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) - Institute of Plant Breeding (IPB) in Bgy. Putho - Tuntungin.
• Forest Products Research & Development Institute (FPRDI), Ecosystems Research & Development Bureau (ERDB) and International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) in Bgy. Batong Malake.

There will installation of poles and primary facilities along Eulogio Rodriguez Jr. Ave. (C-5 Road) in Bgy. Ugong, Pasig City on September 22.

Affected between 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. and then between 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. are:

• F.F. Cruz & Co. Compound along Ortigas Ave.
• Portion of Doña Julia Vargas Ave. from Frontera Verde to and including the whole of Valle Verde 5 Subd.
• Along Frontera Verde Drive from Doña Julia Vargas Ave. to and including CCF Center, Silver City Bldgs. 1 – 4, Transcom Center, Fun Ranch, Burger King, McDonalds and Tiendesitas.

Affected between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. are:  

• Portion of Eulogio Rodriguez Jr. Ave. (C-5 Road) including from SM Center Pasig Hypermarket to Carlo J. Caparas Footbridge including Jollibee.

Meralco will also be replacing facilities inside Meralco-Urdaneta substation on September 22.

Affected between 12:01 a.m. and 12:30 a.m. are:

• MRT 3 - Ayala Station along Epifanio Delos Santos Ave.  (EDSA)

Replacement, relocation, and installation of facilities will be conducted along Manggahan Floodway - East Bank Road in Bgy. Manggahan, Pasig City on September 22.

Affected between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. are:

• Portion of Manggahan Floodway - East Bank Road from B. Robles St. to Rizal St.
• Portion of MRR St. from Ana Barbera Salon to Rizal St. including Buenmar, Eslegui, Lourdes, SPS and A. Rodriguez Sts.

There will be preventive maintenance and testing works inside Meralco - Sapang Palay substation from September 22 to 23.

Affected between 11 p.m. and 11:59 p.m., Sunday, and then between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m., Monday, are:

• Portion of Angat – Bustos Provincial Road and M. A. Fernando St. from Bgy. Donacion to Pundicion St. including Taboc – Cacarong Barangay Road; Bgys. Taboc, Sulucan, Marungko, Sta. Lucia, Laog, Banaban, Baybay, Binagbag, Donacion, Sto. Cristo, San Roque and Sta. Cruz in Angat.
• Portion of Bgys. Bayabas, Camachile and Pulong Sampalok in Doña Remedios Trinidad; Bgy. Pinagtulayan in Norzagaray; Bgys. Sapang Pahalang, Tukod and Pulo in San Rafael; Bgy. Casalat in San Ildefonso; and Bgy. Real De Cacarong in Pandi.
