Power interruptions in parts of Cavite, Quezon City from Sept. 18-20

Parts of Cavite province and Quezon City will experience power service interruptions from September 18 to 20 due to scheduled maintenance activities.

In advisories posted on its website, Manila Electric Company said it will be installing facilities inside West Grove Heights Subd., Bgys. Inchican and Tibig in Silang, Cavite on September 18.

Affected between 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. and then between 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. are:

• Portion of Marang St. from near Aratiles St. to Dalanghita Drive in West Grove Heights Subd.
• Portion of Piko St. from Lakatan St. to Dalanghita St. in West Grove Heights Subd.
• Portion of Iba St. from Lakatan St. to Marang St. including Melon Place and Iba Place in West Grove Heights Subd.
• Portion of Dalanghita Drive from Lakatan St. to Marang St. in West Grove Heights Subd.
• Portion of Aratiles St. from Marang St. to and including Aratiles Loop in West Grove Heights Subd.
• Portion of Durian Drive from Dalanghita Drive to near Bayabas Loop in West Grove Heights Subd.
• Portion of Lakatan St. from Aratiles St. to Piko St. including Lakatan Place in West Grove Heights Subd.

Affected between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. are:

• Portion of Aratiles St. from Dayap St. to Durian Drive in West Grove Heights Subd.
• Portion of Durian Drive from Bayabas Loop to and including Durian Loop and Chesa St. in West Grove Heights Subd.

There will also be installation of poles and line reconductoring works along Tibig Road in Bgys. Tibig and Kaong in Silang, Cavite on September 18.

Affected between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. are:

• Portion of Tibig Road from near Cavite – Laguna Expressway (CALAX) to GMA Road including Sitio Ilaya in Bgys. Tibig and Kaong. 

Meralco will be replacing rotten poles and conducting line maintenance works along Sikat Road in Bgy. Sikat, Alfonso, Cavite on September 19.

Affected between 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. are:

• Portion of Sikat Road from Tagaytay – Nasugbu National Highway to and including Puroks I – V; and Southgrove Heights Subd. in Bgy. Sikat. 

It will also be relocating facilities affected by MRT 7 construction along West Ave. and Bulacan St. in Bgy. Bungad, Project 7, Quezon City from September 19 to 20.

Affected between 11 p.m., Thursday, and 6 a.m., Friday, are:

• Portion of Epifanio Delos Santos Ave. (EDSA) from Builder’s Choice, Inc. Bldg. to West Ave. including SM Cyber West Bldg., Mercury Drugstore, Go Hotel North EDSA and Word of Hope Bldg. in Bgys. Bungad and Veterans Village.
• Portion of Bansalangin St. from Epifanio Delos Santos Ave. (EDSA) to Dangay St. in Bgy. Veterans Village.
• Portion of Bulacan and Moore Sts. from Epifanio Delos Santos Ave. (EDSA) to near Villegas St. including Laguna St.; Eurotel, Andoks Litson Corporate Office, Eco Verde Hotel and Icebergs Food Concepts in Bgy. Bungad.
• Portion of West Ave. from Epifanio Delos Santos Ave. (EDSA) to Bulacan St. including Axiaa Hotel Manila, West Insula Condominium, Back to the Bible Bldg., Capitol City Baptist Church, Pacific Corporate Center, West Trade Center and Cable Link Quezon City Office in Bgy. Bungad.
• Portion of East Maya Drive from West Ave. to and including Vigan, Dumaguete and Cabanatuan Sts.; Legaspi Road and North Lawin Ave. in Phil-Am Subd., Bgy. Phil-Am.
