LRT2 in partial ops due to power supply problem

Operations of the Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT2) will run only from Antipolo to V. Mapa stations and back due to a power supply problem, the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) said on Wednesday morning.

“Pansamantalang nagpapatupad ng provisionary service ang LRT-2 dahil sa power supply problem. Ang biyahe ng tren ay mula Antipolo hanggang V. Mapa station lamang at pabalik,” the LRTA said in a Facebook post.

(LRT-2 is temporarily implementing a provisional service due to a power supply problem. The train trip is from Antipolo to V. Mapa stations only and back.)

This means there are no train operations in Pureza, Legarda, and Recto stations.

“Manatiling nakasubaybay sa LRTA FB and Twitter accounts para sa mga susunod na anunsyo (Stay tuned to the LRTA FB and Twitter accounts for future announcements)," it added.

The LRTA said that the LRT2 has returned to normal operations at 12:34 p.m.
