LRTA slams content creator for setting up dinner table on moving LRT-2 train

The Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) said on Monday that the viral videos of a man setting up a dinner table on a moving LRT-2 train were created without proper authorization.

“Such activities are prohibited on LRTA premises and facilities,” the LRTA said in a statement.

“We urge content creators to act responsibly by respecting their fellow passengers and adhering LRTA safety security regulations. Safety and consideration for others should always be a priority when using train services,” it added.

In the videos posted by “Trionkwentos”, a man sits beside a random female passenger and sets up a dinner table out of the blue with a candle and a plate, mimicking a date.

But in one of the videos, the gimmick was interrupted after a security guard inside the train called them out on their unauthorized and possibly unsafe activity.

“The LRTA reserves the right to take appropriate action against individuals who violate safety and security guidelines,” the LRTA said. —Vince Angelo Ferreras/RF, GMA Integrated News
