Security guard arrested for shooting scavenger in QC

The police arrested a security guard after shooting a scavenger outside a restaurant along Kalayaan Avenue in Quezon City.

In Glen Juego’s report in Super Radyo dzBB on Friday, Quezon City Police District (QCPD) director Brigadier General Red Maranan said the security guard and the scavenger had an altercation after the former called out the latter for loitering outside the restaurant. 

Personnel from the QCPD Station 10 and the city disaster risk reduction and management office immediately responded to the incident and rushed the wounded man to the hospital. 

The security guard is facing charges of frustrated homicide, according to the report.—Vince Ferreras/LDF, GMA Integrated News
