SUV rams concrete barrier in EDSA Santolan
A sport utility vehicle (SUV) rammed into a concrete barrier along the northbound section of the EDSA-Santolan, causing a traffic snarl on a rainy Thursday morning.
In a series of video posts on X (formerly Twitter) by Super Radyo dzBB reporter Mark Makalalad, traffic enforcers directed private and public utility vehicles away from the crash site on the busy thoroughfare.
Multiple lanes were closed due to the incident, constricting traffic flow.
Members of the Special Action and Intelligence Committee for Transportation (SAICT) were on the scene to put back up the barriers that the SUV plowed.

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Thursday morning reported a "road crash incident" at the EDSA Santolan northbound area, with enforcers on site. It did not immediately report when normal traffic flow was restored.
In a statement, the SAICT said the male driver was found conscious but was unable to move.
"While he appeared to have no visible injuries, he was unable to lift his arm to open the car door, suggesting a possible medical condition," SAICT said.
"Driver information could not be verified due to the heavy rainfall and the driver's inability to move," it added.
The SAICT said three lanes were blocked as a result of the incident, which occurred at the EDSA Busway near the People Power Monument in White Plains.
The MMDA deployed an ambulance and tow truck to the scene. Authorities currently are investigating the incident. — VDV, GMA Integrated News
