Power interruptions in parts of Metro Manila, Bulacan, Laguna, Cavite from Sept. 3 to 8

Parts of Metro Manila, Bulacan, Laguna, and Cavite will experience power service interruptions from September 3 to 8 due to scheduled maintenance activities.

In advisories posted on its website, Manila Electric Company (Meralco) said there will be line maintenance works and retirement of facilities along Carlos Palanca Sr. St. and Quezon Blvd. in Quaipo, Manila from September 3 to 4.

Affected between 10:30 p.m., Tuesday, and 5:30 a.m., Wednesday, are:

• Portion of Quezon Blvd. from R. Hidalgo St. to Carlos Palanca Sr. St. including Mercury Drugstore in Quiapo.
• Portion of Villalobos St. from R. Hidalgo St. to Carlos Palanca Sr. St. including Dream Fields Development Corp. in Quiapo; and Sta. Cruz.
• Portion of Palma St. from Carriedo St. to R. Hidalgo St. including CKE International Holding Corp., Jollibee, and KFC in Sta. Cruz.
• Portion of Carlos Palanca Sr. St. from C. Palanca Bridge in Quiapo to and including Helios, Orosco and P. Ducos Sts.; Isetann Carriedo Supermarket and portion of FEATI University compound in Sta. Cruz; Bazan and Oscariz Sts.; Champwin Corp., Highinfinity One Bldg., Gaisano Tower, Quinta Market & Fish Port, and BDO Quiapo - Quinta Market Branch in Quiapo.
• Portion of R. Hidalgo St. from Quezon Blvd. to Padre Gomez St. including Mega Citi Palace Corp. and ULCM Development Corp. in Quiapo.

It will be conducting line reconstruction works along F. Buenaventura St. in Bgy. Pulong Buhangin, Santa Maria, Bulacan on September 4.

Affected between 10 a.m. and 12 noon are:

• Portion of F. Buenaventura St.; Tierra Road; and Sitio Ibayo in Bgy. Pulong Buhangin.

It will also be installing and relocating facilities along Magsaysay Boulevard in Sampaloc, Manila on September 5.

Affected between 12:01 a.m. and 12:30 a.m. and then between 3:30 a.m. and 4 a.m. are:

• Portion of D. Santiago St. from Buenos Aires St. to near Paraiso St.
• Portion of P. Pelaez St. from D. Santiago St. to Altura St.
• Portion of Vigan St. from D. Santiago St. to near Altura St.

Affected between 12: 01 a.m. and 4 a.m. are:

• Portion of Ramon Magsaysay Boulevard from Buenos Aires St. to near Paltok St.

There will be replacement of poles and upgrading of facilities along Uwisan – Looc Road in Bgys. Uwisan and Looc, Calamba City, Laguna on September 6.

Affected between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m. are:

• Portion of Mamatid Road from Uwisan – Looc Road to and including Mabuhay City Phase IB Executive Series Subdivision in Barangay Mamatid, Cabuyao City.
• Portion of Uwisan – Looc Road from Mamatid Road in Barangay Mamatid, Cabuyao City to and including Vermont Place Subdivision, Mahogany Villas Subdivision, Lake Breeze Residences, Aztec Homes Subdivision, Centennial De Calamba Subdivision, Villa Concepcion Subdivision, Villa Consolacion Subdivision, and ATDRMAM Village 4 in Barangays Uwisan and Looc, Calamba City.

Replacement of pole and relocation of facilities will also be conducted along Talabahan and Karilagan Sts. in Bgys. Baritan and Muzon in Malabon City on September 6.

Affected between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. are:

• Portion of Ilang – Ilang St. from Gen. Luna St. to and including Talabahan, Doña Ata, A. Cruz, Ilang – Ilang III, and Talabahan Ext. Sts. in Barangay Baritan.
• Portion of Karilagan St. from Talabahan St. to Kagitingan St. in Barangay Muzon.
• Portion of Kagitingan St. from Karilagan St. to Damzon St. in Barangay Muzon.
• Portion of Kaunlaran St. from near Kasarinlan St. to and including Katarungan St. in Barangay Muzon.

There will also be replacement of facilities and line reconstruction works in Bgys. Datu Esmael and San Esteban in Dasmariñas City, Cavite on September 7.

Affected between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. are:

• Portion of San Esteban Barangay Road from near Carlos Trinidad Ave. to and including Datu Esmael Elementary School; A. Luna, Alpine, Bear Brand, Birch Tree, Bona, Carnation, Gain, Milk Maid, Milky Way, Nestogen, and Similac Sts. in Barangays Datu Esmael and San Esteban.

Meralco will be replacing poles and conducting line reconductoring and rehabilitation works in Bgy. Casalat, San Ildefonso, Bulacan on September 8.

Affected between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. are:

• Portion of Casalat Barangay Road from Akle Liwasan Day Care Center to Casalat Basketball Court, including Purok 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 in Barangay Casalat.
