Online classes, WFH for UST students, employees due to 2024 Bar Exams

The University of Santo Tomas (UST) will shift to online classes and work-from-home setup on some days in September in light of the 2024 Bar Examinations.

In a memorandum dated Tuesday, the Office of the Secretary-General said the adjustments were done to ensure compliance with requirements set by the Supreme Court, as the UST main campus will serve as one of the testing areas in Metro Manila.

On September 4-7, 9-14, and 16-17, classes and work will shift to online and remote operations at the College of Information and Computing Sciences, College of Commerce and Business Administration, Faculty of Arts and Letters, and UST Junior High School.

Meanwhile, other academic and administrative units will observe regular schedules and operations on September 4-7, 9-10, 12-14, and 16-17.

On September 8 and 15, operations on the UST campus are only limited to the following:

-UST Hospital
-UST Carpark
-Institute of Physical Education and Athletics (with select student athletes whose activities are limited to the Quadri Pavilion)
-Santísimo Rosario Parish
-Hotel 1611
-Domus Mariae
