Power interruptions in parts of Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Bulacan from Aug. 27-Sept. 1

Parts of Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon (Calabarzon) and Bulacan will experience power service interruptions from August 27 to September 1 due to scheduled maintenance activities.

In advisories posted on its website, Manila Electric Company said there will be replacement and installation of poles, and line maintenance and reconductoring works along Katipunan Ave. in Bgy. San Bartolome, Novaliches, Quezon City from August 27 to 28.

Affected between 11 p.m., Tuesday, and 6 a.m., Wednesday, are:  

• Portion of Katipunan Ave. from Magsaysay Ave. to and including East Los Angeles, Davies, East Berkeley, East San Jose, Riverside, Sta. Maria, West Berkeley, West Los Angeles, West San Francisco and West San Jose Sts. in California Village; Sambahayang California Village HOA; Eco Safe Hazmat Treatment Inc., Jeshicris Manufacturing Company, Kathlean Commercial Inc., Millepher Corp., Nikon Manufacturing Corp., Sirloin Food Industries Corp., Winner Chemical Marketing Corp. and A1+ Multinational Packaging Inc. in Bgy. San Bartolome

It will also be conducting installation and retirement of facilities, and line reconstruction works along Don Basilio Leyva St. in Bgy. Ligtong IV, Rosario, Cavite on August 28.

Affected between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. are:

There will also be installation of new facilities along Plaza Sta. Cruz in Sta. Cruz, Manila on August 28.
