Barge runs aground along the Pasig River

A barge ran aground along the Pasig River on Saturday morning due to the low tide, according to an advisory by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority.

The privately owned barge was sailing along the shallow Napindan section of the river that was also obstructed by water hyacinths.
