Roads around Mendiola closed Sep. 8,11, 15 for 2024 Bar exams — Manila LGU

Some roads around Mendiola will be closed to traffic on September 8, 11, and 15 due to the upcoming Bar Examination 2024, the Manila government’s public information office said on Friday.

In a Facebook post, the city government said it will implement the following road closures in the Mendiola area near San Beda University:

• Mendiola Street, both lanes from Peach Arch to Malacan?ang Gate from 2 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Concepcion Aguila Street, both lanes from Mendiola Street cor. Jose Laurel Street from 2AM to 7PM

Due to this, the Manila government advised the public to take alternate routes during the Bar examination dates.

In July, the Supreme Court on released the list of local testing centers (LTCs) for the Bar exams:

Metro Manila

• University of the Philippines-Diliman
• University of Santo Tomas
• San Beda University
• Manila Adventist College
• University of the Philippines-Bonifacio Global City
• San Beda College-Alabang

Luzon

• Saint Louis University
• University of Nueva Caceres

Visayas

• University of San Jose-Recoletos
• Central Philippine University
• Dr. V. Orestes Romualdez Educational Foundation

Mindanao

• Xavier University
• Ateneo de Davao University

The Bar exams for this year are scheduled for September 8, 11, and 15, with Associate Justice Mario Lopez as chairperson, according to the SC. — RSJ, GMA Integrated News
