Power interruptions in parts of NCR, Quezon, Laguna, Batangas from Aug. 21-25

Parts of Metro Manila and provinces of Quezon, Laguna, and Batangas will experience power service interruptions from August 21 to 25 due to scheduled maintenance activities.

In advisories posted on its website, Manila Electric Company (Meralco) said line reconstruction works will be conducted at E. Rodriguez Sr. Ave. in Bgy. Kalusugan, New Manila, Quezon City from August 21 to 22.

Affected between 11:30 p.m., Wednesday, and 3:30 a.m., Thursday are:  

• De Los Santos Medical Center along Rodriguez Sr. Ave. in Bgy. Kalusugan.   

There will upgrading of facilities along Coloong 1 Road in Bgy. Coloong, Valenzuela City on August 22.

Affected between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. are:

• Portion of Coloong 1 Road from near M. H. Del Pilar St. to and including Coloong Pumping Station, DWBL Transmission Tower, South China Technologies Inc.; and Puso St.

Meralco will be replacing facilities along Marlboro St. in East Fairview Park Subd., Bgy. Fairview, Quezon City on August 22.

Affected between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. are:  

• Portion of Marlboro St. from Winston St. to and including Cavalier, Chelsea, Fortune, Goldman, Iceland, Kent, Kool, Newport, Old Gold, Pallmall, Piedmont and Viceroy Sts. in East Fairview Park Subd.

There will be relocation of poles and line reconductoring works along Tiaong – Dolores Road in Bgys. Lalig and Bulakin in Tiaong, Quezon Province on August 22.

Affected between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. are:

• Portion of Tiaong – Dolores Road from Maharlika Highway in Bgy. Lalig, Tiaong to Bungoy Welcome Arch including RBT Green Farm and Bungoy Elementary School; and Purok I - IV in Bgy. Bungoy, Dolores; and Sitio Calamigan in Bgys. Bulakin and Lalig in Tiaong.  

Meralco will be installing poles and conducting line reconductoring works along B. Morcilla St. in Bgy. Poblacion, Pateros from August 22 to 23.

Affected between 11 p.m., Thursday, and 4 a.m., Friday, are:

• Portion of B. Morcilla St. from M. Almeda St. to and including McDonald’s; A. Mabini, Lt. F. Cruz, P. Tangco and S. Tuazon Sts.; KFC and Pateros Catholic High School.

There will be line reconductoring works along F. Roxas St. in Grace Park, Caloocan City from August 22 to 23.

Affected between 11 p.m., Thursday, and 5 a.m., Friday, are:

• Portion of F. Roxas St. near 6th Ave. to near 4th Ave.
• Portion of 5th Ave. from near A. Del Mundo St. to C. Cordero St.

Meralco will be conducting replacement of rotten pole, reconstruction, and replacement of facilities at various areas in Lucban, Quezon Province from August 22 to 23.

Affected between 10:45 p.m. and 11 p.m., Thursday, and then between 4 a.m. and 4:15 a.m., Friday, are:

• Portion of Tayabas - Lucban – Majayjay Provincial Road and Quezon Ave. from Roma Rosa Subd. in Bgy. Mateuna, Tayabas to Miramonte Subd. Phase 1 in Bgy. Tinamnan, Lucban including Gardenville De Lucban Subd., Mariposa Royale Subd., Saint Louis Heights Subd., Villa Loreto Subd., Sitio Ayos, Lucban Highlands Subd., Sitio Burol; Kamay ni Hesus Healing Church, Southern Luzon State University (SLSU), Lucban MMG Hospital, Batis Aramin Resort & Hotel, Panggat Breeder Farm, Quezon Poultry & Livestock Corporation (QPLC) Farm, Crystal Clear Purified Tube Ice, FDV Poultry Farm and VVC Farm; Bgys. • Portion of Quezon Ave. from Miramonte Subd. Phase 1 to G. Cadelina St. including Nañagas Estate 3 Subd.; and Lucban Academy in Bgys. Kulapi and Tinamnan in Lucban.
• Portion of Armando Racelis Ave. from G. Cadelina St.  to near Don V. Cadelina St. including G. Del Pilar St. in Lucban Town Proper in Lucban.

There will be maintenance works inside Meralco-Sta. Cruz substation in Laguna from August 23 to 24.

Affected between 10:45 p.m. and 11 p.m., Friday, and then between 9 a.m. and 9:15 a.m., Saturday, are:

• Portion of P. Guevarra Ave. from Meralco – Sta. Cruz substation in Bgy. Pagsawitan to and including Bgys. Santisima Cruz, Umboy, Calios, Pagsawitan, San Pablo Sur, Sto. Angel Central, Sto. Angel Norte, Sto. Angel Sur and Town Proper.
• Portion of Quezon Ave. from P. Guevarra Ave. in Town Proper to Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ in Bgys. Calios, Patimbao, Sto. Angel Central and Sto. Angel Sur.

Meralco will be conducting maintenance works inside Kasai Advanced Mfg. in First Philippine Industrial Park, Bgy. Sta. Anastacia, Sto. Tomas City, Batangas Province on August 25.

Affected between  8 a.m. and 2 p.m. are:

• Kasai Advanced Mfg. in First Philippine Industrial Park, Bgy. Sta. Anastacia.
