LRT-2 on full line operation following catenary repair

The Light Rail Transit -2 (LRT-2) is back to full line operations after the repair of the catenary cable between the Katipunan and Santolan Stations, the management announced on Tuesday.

Limited operation, in which the train was only travelling to and from Recto and Cubao stations, was implemented from Monday evening to early Tuesday morning due to the repairs.

As of 7 a.m., LRT-2 management announced that full operation is in place from Antipolo station up to Recto station. 

Meanwhile, Super Radyo DZBB's Mark Makalalad reported that due to the delay many of the commuters along Marcos Highway in a portion of Antipolo City, were stranded.

The Antipolo station, Marikina station, and Santolan station remain closed on Tuesday morning. — BAP, GMA Integrated News
