LRT2 ops back to normal after homeless person entered viaduct
Though Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT2) operations were briefly disrupted on Friday morning when a homeless person entered the viaduct of one of its stations, the matter was resolved and operations returned to normal after nearly two hours.
In an advisory posted on its social media pages, the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) reported that at 6 a.m., August 16, LRT2 operations were limited to Antipolo to V. Mapa stations and vice versa.
The implementation of a provisionary service was “dahil sa isang taong grasa na kasalukuyang nasa viaduct ng V. Mapa station (due to a homeless person who is currently in the viaduct of the V. Mapa station).”
