Power interruptions in parts of NCR, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna on Aug. 13-17

Parts of Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, and Laguna will be experiencing power service interruptions from August 13 to 17 due to scheduled maintenance activities.

In advisories posted on its website, Manila Electric Company (Meralco) said it will be conducting replacement of poles and line reconductoring works along Berkeley St. in California Village, Bgy. San Bartolome, Novaliches, Quezon City from August 13 to 14.

Affected between 11 p.m., Tuesday, and 6 a.m., Wednesday, are:  

• Portion of Magsaysay Ave. from near Pablo Dela Cruz St. to and including California Village, Ramirez Subd., Sikatuna Country Homes Subd.; Aguinaldo, Garcia, Lapuz, Laurel, Marcos, Quirino, Recto and Roxas Sts. in Doña Faustina Subd.; Ct. Clothing, Digilab Trading Philippines Inc., Elite Nova Plastic Mfg. Corp., Hydro Phil. Asia Inc., New Era Boxes Mfg. Ltd. Co. and Rickimel Marketing Co. in Bgy. San Bartolome.

It will also be upgrading facilities along Banga - Tugatog Road in Bgy. Banga, Meycauayan City, Bulacan on August 13.

Affected between 10:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. are:

• Portion of Banga – Tugatog Road from near MacArthur Highway in Bgy. Banga, Meycauayan City to and including San Francisco Subd., Lopez Subd., MGL Village, Skyline Subd. and Sta. Lucia Subd.; C. Molina, F. San Diego and T. San Diego Sts.; Puregold Minimart and Veinte Reales National High School in Bgy. Veinte Reales, Valenzuela City;
• Mapalad Subd. and San Pedro Subd.; Allarilla, Bancal Ext., Apitong, Ipil-Ipil, Mulawin, Talisay, Alarilla, Rosales, C. Soriente, Daang Bakal, Davis, Elijio Celon, Encarnado, Gulod and Origen Sts.; Chelsi Leather & Services Inc. and Rosales Cottage Industry in Bgys. Banga, Tugatog and Bancal in Meycauayan City, Bulacan.

Meralco will be replacing poles, conducting line reconstruction works, and upgrading facilities along Congressional Road in Bgy. Burol Main, Dasmariñas City, Cavite on August 14.

Affected between 9:00 a.m. and 2 p.m. are:  

• Portion of Anabu Road from Congressional Road to and including Pasong Bayog Road; Amaris Homes Dasmariñas Phase 2, Chester Place Subd., Corner Stone Executive Homes, Hauskon Homes La Salle Subd. and Morson Subd. in Bgy. Burol Main.

It further said there will be line reconductoring works and installation of additional lightning protection devices along Remedios, Madre Ignacia, and Adriatico Sts. in Malate, Manila on August 14.

Affected between 12:01 a.m. and 5 a.m. are:  

• Portion of Remedios St. from A. Mabini St. to Madre Ignacia St.
• Portion of Madre Ignacia St. from San Andres St. to Adriatico Interior St.
• Portion of Adriatico St. from Quirino Ave. to San Andres St.

Meralco will be upgrading facilities along Soledad – Sta. Maria – Santisimo Rosario Road in Bgys. San Francisco, Soledad, Sta. Maria, Santisimo Rosario and San Gregorio, San Pablo City, Laguna on August 14.

Affected between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. are:

• Portion of Soledad – Sta. Maria – Santisimo Rosario Road from Maharlika Highway to Santisimo Rosario Road including Maharlika Village, San Francisco Subd., St. Francis Subd., Savana Estates Subd. and Villa Carmen Subd.; 3J Corporation, Sts. Peter & Paul Hospital, Ajax Trading,  DS Cosmeceutical Mfg., Optimized Customer Solutions Inc., NH Oil Mill, Pacific Sun Gas Inc., Lamcor Trading, LRP Inc. and Villa Soledad Resort in Bgys. San Francisco, Soledad, Sta. Maria, Santisimo Rosario and San Gregorio.

It will also be replacing facilities along National Highway in Bgy. Labuin, Pila, Laguna on August 15.

Affected between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. are:

• Portion of Bagong Pook Barangay Road from National Highway to and including Pook Bayside, Pook Hingiwan, Promesa Subd., Purok I, II, III, IV & V, Tierra Verde Subd., Villa Concepcion, Sitio Bungahan and Purok 1 in Bgys. Bagong Pook and Labuin.

Meralco will be replacing poles and conducting line reconstruction works along Victorino Mapa St. corner Old Sta. Mesa St. in Sta. Mesa, Manila from August 15 to 16.

Affected  between 11 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., Thursday, and then 4:30 a.m. and 5 a.m., Friday are:

• Portion of Victorino Mapa St. from Magsaysay Blvd. to Peralta St.
• Along Road 2 from Victorino Mapa St. to Baldovino St. including Road 4, P. Hintoloro and Buenviaje Sts.; SM Appliance Center – SM City Sta. Mesa, Hotel Sogo - Sta. Mesa and Sta. Mesa Tropicana Casino.

Affected between 11 p.m., Thursday, and 5 a.m., Friday, are:

• Portion of Old Sta. Mesa St. from Victorino Mapa St. to San Juan Bridge including NHA Compound.
• Portion of Universe St. from Neptune St. to Uranus St. in Rising Sun Subd.

There will also be replacement of poles and line reconstruction works along Science and Chemistry Sts. in Teachers Village, Bgy. Manggahan, Pasig City on August 17.

Affected between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. are:

• Portion of English and Physics Sts. from Kapitagan St. to and including Science, Economics and Chemistry Sts. in Teachers Village.
