Fire hits residential area in Tondo, Manila

A fire hit a residential area in Balut, Tondo in Manila on Monday morning. 

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection - National Capital Region (BFP-NCR), the blaze gutted wooden crates stacked on a portion of the road near homes. 

The Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office said the incident happened along Road 10 in Barangay 128. 

The BFP-NCR said that 13 ambulances had responded to extinguish the fire that reached the second alarm at 6:12 a.m. 

But the fire was declared under control at 6:45 a.m. and was declared out at 7:13 a.m., the BFP-NCR added. 

In Manny Vargas' report in Super Radyo dzBB, no one was hurt in the incident. The report also said that authorities are still finding out the estimated damages and the fire's origin.
