Water service interruptions in south Metro Manila, Cavite on Aug. 5 to 6 —Maynilad

West zone concessionaire Maynilad announced that some of its customers in the southern part of Metro Manila and in Cavite will experience water service disruptions on August 5 to 6 for maintenance activities. 

In an advisory, customers in portions of Muntinlupa, Las Piñas, Parañaque, Pasay, and in Cavite (Imus and Bacoor) are advised to store enough water as the service interruption is scheduled from 12:01 a.m. of August 5 until 11 am of August 6 to give way for the insertion of a valve at the main discharge line of the Putatan Pumping Station and other maintenance works. 

Maynilad media relations head Madel Zaide told SuperRadyo dzBB that the water service interruption would affect 227,000 service connections or 14% of its total customers.

Further, the water company assured that stationary water tanks will be deployed in the affected areas as a source of clean water during the duration of the water service interruption.
