The Tullahan River swelled and caused flooding along McArthur Highway between Valenzuela and Malabon, Christian Maño reported on Super Radyo DzBB on Wednesday afternoon.

The overflow from the river caused some houses and vehicles to be submerged in the flood.

Due to the downpour, commuters were stranded along McArthur Highway for about an hour.

PAGASA said typhoon Carina continues to intensify while moving towards Taiwan.
