2 suspects killed, 4 cops hurt in Tondo shootout

Two suspects were killed and four policemen were hurt when the service of a warrant of arrest turned into a shootout in Tondo, Manila on Wednesday night.

According to a report on "Saksi," those killed were identified as Alias RJ and Alias Mac-mac.

They were reportedly suspects in several killings and were also allegedly involved in illegal drugs.

"Ni-lock nila yung pinto kaya nagkaroon ng pagkakataon na umakyat sa 2nd floor, tumalon sa bintana, at lumipat sa isang bahay. Nu'ng sinundan nu'ng mga pulis natin, mayroon naman tayong blocking forces doon, 'yun 'yung una niyang pinutukan," said Police Brig. Gen. Arnold Thomas Ibay.
