Fire hits Mandaluyong hotel


A fire broke out at the basement of BSA Twin Towers Hotel in Mandaluyong City on Wednesday morning.

Super Radyo dzBB’s Luisito Santos reported that based on the initial investigation of the Mandaluyong Fire Station, the blaze started at 11:42 a.m.

It was was declared under control at 12:20 p.m. and finally put out at 1:24 p.m.

 

The report said the guests of the hotel were evacuated outside the building.

There was no report of any injuries, as of posting time.

Arson investigators are still determining the cause of fire and the extent of the damage.

Sought for comment, BSA Twin Towers Hotel told GMA News Online they have yet to release a statement regarding the fire incident since it is still under investigation by the Bureau of Fire Protection.—Mariel Celine Serquiña/AOL, GMA Integrated News
