Court clears motorist who confiscated license of truck driver in Taguig 

The court has dismissed the complaint against a motorist who confiscated the license of a truck driver in an altercation incident in Taguig City last year, according to a "24 Oras" report.

The motorist, who was driving an SUV, also issued a public statement for the first time and insisted that the truck driver tried to jostle him out of his path.

He also denied the allegations of the truck driver that he was carrying a gun and that he threatened to shoot him.

Meanwhile, he acknowledged that it was wrong of him to accuse the truck driver of being under the influence of drugs.  He added he should not have gotten the license of the driver.

The SUV driver said he is considering filing a complaint against the truck driver. —LDF, GMA Integrated News
