PITX suspends several trips due to Aghon

The Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) on Sunday suspended some of its trips due to Tropical Storm Aghon.

In an advisory, PITX said the suspended routes are bound for San Jose, Mindoro; Iloilo City; Tagbilaran; Maasin; Laoang; Masbate and Lucena.

PITX also advised passengers to contact their respective bus company for rebooking.

According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), Aghon made its first landfall in Eastern Samar on Saturday.

Aghon became a storm while over Tayabas Bay early Sunday morning.  Signal No. 2 was hoisted over parts of Quezon, including Polillo Islands.—Mariel Celine Serquiña/RF, GMA Integrated News
