3 found dead in Las Piñas house
Three individuals, including one minor, have been found dead inside a residential area in Barangay Pulang Lupa Dos in Las Piñas City.
The bodies were discovered after a person noticed a foul smell coming from one of the rooms in the victims’ house at around 1:34 p.m. on Saturday, based on a Super Radyo dzBB report of Mao dela Cruz on Sunday.
This was reported to the relatives of the victims, as well as to the barangay and the CAA police substation.
When authorities went to the house to verify the report, they saw the bodies of one male and two females lying on the bed.
The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) confirmed they were dead.
The suspect in the killing was arrested in a follow-up operation on Saturday night.
He is currently detained at the Las Piñas City Police Station and will face murder charges.
Investigators are looking at crime of passion as a possible motive for the murder, as the suspect was believed to be a live-in partner of one of the victims.
A 20-inch piece of wood was found at the crime scene.
The victims’ belongings were also in a mess, based on the ocular investigation conducted by the police.
The forensics unit requested the area to be processed for the technical aspect of the investigation.
A sibling of one of the victims said the three fatalities were last seen alive on Wednesday, May 15. —Giselle Ombay/KG, GMA Integrated News
