7-year-old allegedly raped by brother, cousin, uncle in Marikina

A 19-year old man was nabbed in Marikina City after he and two other male relatives allegedly raped his 7-year old sister.

According to a 24 Oras report by Emil Sumangil on Tuesday, an arrest warrant was issued against suspect alias “Tugo”, his cousin and uncle.

Tugo was nabbed by police at his workplace,  a meat shop in Marikina.

The two other suspects remain at large.

The suspect denied the accusations. “Wala ako nang mangyari ang krimen… Nasa Maynila po,” Tugo said.

Police took the opportunity to remind the public to be vigilant and to report any untoward incident against family members.

“Bantayan natin ang ating mga anak. Huwag sana silang matakot dahil andito naman tayo na pwedeng tutulong sa kanila,” said CIDG – DSOU Chief Police Lieutenant Colonel Dave Toktokan.
