Love triangle eyed as rider shot dead in Manila
A motorcycle rider died on the spot after he was shot several times by an unidentified gunman in Sta. Cruz, Manila over the weekend.
According to Jhomer Apresto's report on "24 Oras," the suspect and the victim arrived on motorcycles at the corner of Felix Huertas and Bambang Streets on Sunday, 9 p.m.
The two talked briefly before the suspect fired a warning shot and eventually shot the victim.
Pedro Nilayan, the chairman of Barangay 232, said the suspect fled towards the direction of Bambang.
The victim's friends said he was to pick up his girlfriend before the incident happened.
A love triangle is being eyes as a possible motive.
The victim's family declined to issue a statement.
Police are now investigating the crime and are looking for the possible whereabouts of the suspect. —Sundy Locus/NB, GMA Integrated News
