Huge amount of cash found by traffic enforcers; MMDA seeks owner
Traffic enforcers have found a huge amount of unattended cash, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said on Monday.
In a press conference, MMDA chairperson Romando Artes called on the owner to get the money at their office in Pasig City and show proof that the cash belongs to him or her.
Wala pong IDs na kasama or pagkakakilanlan na magsasabi kung kanino 'yung pera,” he said.
(Our enforcers found a huge amount of money. It was turned over to us. There were no ID cards or any marks that could tell us who the owner is.)
(We are calling on those who lost their money to come personally to our office. Just make sure you know the details about this money: where it was kept, how much, what is included, what place, what time.)
Artes warned that those who will falsely claim the money will face charges. He said the MMDA obtained a copy of a CCTV footage to validate the claim.—AOL. GMA Integrated News
