5 hurt as fire hits Manila residential area

Five people were reported hurt as fire broke out in a residential area in San Nicolas, Manila on Friday, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
The BFP said two of those injured were firefighters.
The fire in Parola Compound started at 11:33 a.m. and reached the third alarm at 11:51 a.m.
A total of 13 fire trucks and one ambulance arrived in the area to put out the fire and assist possible victims, the BFP said.
