Fire hits residential areas in Tondo, Paranaque; 4 hurt
Two separate fire incidents hit residential areas in Tondo, Manila and Brgy. San Dionisio, Parañaque Wednesday.
A fire broke out in a residential area in Barangay 135, Balut, Tondo, Manila early morning, according to a Balitanghali report.
The Bureau of Fire Protection said the fire started around 8 a.m. and reached the first alarm at 8:24 a.m.
The fire was declared under control at 9:04 a.m. and finally contained at 9:12 a.m..
No casualties or injuries have been reported.
Meanwhile, the investigation regarding the cause as well as the damage incurred is ongoing.
In Paranaque, four were reported hurt due to the fire, including Fire Officer 2 Paulo Baraquiel who was electrocuted while rescuing residents.
The fire started around 1 p.m. and reached first alarm at 1:20 p.m.
The blaze reached third alarm at 1:39 p.m. and was declared under control at 2:34 p.m. It was put out at 3:51 p.m.—Sherylin Untalan/AOL, GMA Integrated News
